Curious about what kinds of KPIs we measure? Here's a few examples:

• Has the article ever been maintained: Did someone ever update/review the article or is it maybe 10 years old and was never checked, possibly including outdated process instructions?

• Reading time: Can the article be read in a reasonable time, or is it maybe the length of an entire manual, which can be unrealistic to expect someone to reference when in need of quick answers?

• Legibility: Is the content phrased in a way that will be understandable to the target group or did someone maybe copy a few scattered notes and snippets into a document, leaving the information hard to interpret?

• Is the document owner known: Does the metadata include the document owner, who may be contacted for possible questions and who will keep the document reviewed and up to date, or is it orphaned and nobody feels responsible for making sure the document is correct?

• Unknown abbreviations: Does the article use abbreviations that weren’t listed as known in the company by SMEs? These are hard to interpret both for human readers and AI assistants, leading to misunderstandings and false information appearing in searches.

• Outdated terms: Is the article using outdated names for tools, teams, or companies? Is it using language no longer approved by company policy?

• Dead URLs: Does the article include URLs that do not lead to valid targets anymore and should be replaced?

• Title matches content: Is the title a good fit for the content of the article, or is it maybe too generic or misleading, causing false search hits?
